August 18-20
12th Annual Key West Days at Put-in-BayPut-in-Bay is often referred to as the Key West of the North. In fact, each February, some of the islands best entertainers head south for the annual Put-in-Bay Days in Key West. This event is held at the World Famous Sloppy Joe Bar. Key West Days at Put-in-Bay is the perfect response to the awesome PIB Days. Entertainers such as Pete and Wayne come to the Roundhouse Bar and with them bring some of that Key West flair. Many have argued that Put-in-Bay and Key West have a similar vibe and seem to put those who visit in an easy going mood. The Summer is rapidly coming to an end and the time has come to put an island in your life. Put-in-Bay is close to many, so come on over for Key West Days at PIB!
August 21
Senior Citizens DayPut-in-Bay and the surrounding mainland communities rely heavily on tourism. Thus, this has created a large population of Summer residents who flock South in the Winter. "Snow Birds" as they are commonly known make up a sizable portion of the population of the Lake Erie North Coast. August 21st is Senior Citizens Day at Put-in-Bay to honor the more experienced among us. As the Summer nears the end, this day has been set aside to welcome our elders to Put-in-Bay. Be sure to visit before flying South!

5th Annual 3W2 FLY-INThere couldn't be a more appropriate handle for the airport at Put-in-Bay than 3W2, or 3 Whiskey 2. The logistics of island life have made planes a vital way of transport for many years. From the famed Tri-Motor plane to the machines of today, planes are still quite vital to the Put-in-Bay way of life. This unique event pairs two interesting aspects of Put-in-Bay life: the Antique Car Parade and the island pilot lifestyle. The Antique Car Parade finishes its route at the airport to join the pilots that fly in for a pig roast. Please note that the airport is closed from dusk to dawn. There will be no parking fees for those attending the event, however standard parking rates apply for overnight guests. Jet set your way to Put-in-Bay for the 4th Annual 3W2 Fly-in!
August 27-30
9th Annual Put-in-Bay Road Race ReunionThe Put-in-Bay Road Race Reunion pays homage to the races that were held on the island from 1952-1959 and again in 1963. These races, sponsored by the Cleveland Sports Car Club, were held on the roads of Put-in-Bay and consisted of over 100 small bore race cars. The drivers were all amateurs, giving those who wished to try out racing an opportunity to do so. Incredibly, there are no accounts of drivers or spectators being injured during the duration of the races. Now, to bring some of the original adrenaline back into the equation, racers compete on the grounds of the Put-in-Bay Airport. Spectators line the fence surrounding the strip and watch the cars whiz by. The roar of the engines can be heard reverberating across Put-in-Bay. This event is a must attend for the season. The number of cars has grown immensely over the course of the years of the reunion. The checkered flag will be waiving at the 8th Annual Put-in-Bay Road Race Reunion, join in on the fun.
